There is a growing sense in our industry that we are in the early days of perhaps the most seismic shift the mobile industry has ever seen. It's fuelled by several factors, including but not limited to digital distribution; open storefronts where developers control the price of their apps; the impact of social networking; and above all the shifting sands as old developers move to new platforms, while old platforms try to attract new developers. GUERILLAPPS® is positioning itself to lead this seismic shift.
We prefer to look at our apps as a service rather than as a product. Our app launch dates are more of a wa point for us rather than the finishing line and after a launch date you usually find us with our heads buried in analytics data on how users are using our apps and what they say about them. We take this data and use it to directly improve our apps in the next update.
We would usually let the marketing drive. If we can't come up with a strong enough marketing pitch for an app most of the chances are that we just won't develop that app (unless we decide to do it purely for our personal fun which is a good enough cause...)
